Nixon Sentry Custom Watch FAQs

How long will it take to receive my custom Nixon Sentry watch?

Your custom watch enters production as soon as your build is finalized, with an estimated 15 to 20 business days needed for creation. All custom watches are hand built in California before being shipped to France. Watches will be shipped to the purchasers from the warehouse in France. Once packaging is complete, you'll receive tracking information via email so you can monitor its progress. Note that seasonal promotions and holiday rushes can occasionally lengthen processing due to higher order volume.

What is the process of building a custom Sentry watch at Nixon?

Nixon.com makes designing a custom watch quick and straightforward. First, select the watch model you want to build on, then move through choosing the case type and color, followed by your preferred dial style. After that, pick a second hand color and select the strap material and color combination you're drawn to. Wrap up the process by adding a custom engraved message to give your watch a personal touch.

Is the Sentry water resistant, and can I swim or shower with it?

The Nixon Sentry is water resistant with a rating of 100 meters / 10 ATM, but it is not fully waterproof. The watch itself can withstand swimming or showering. If you opt to build your custom Nixon Sentry watch with a leather strap, we recommend avoiding water so that you do not damage the band.

What type of movement does the Sentry use, and does it have a day/date function?

The Sentry watch uses a Japanese Miyota 0S20 quartz 3-hand movement with a bilingual day and date complication (English/Spanish).
