300+ Snowboarders at SuddenRush Banked Slalom LAAX

More than 300 riders gathered on the slopes of LAAX for the 7th edition of SuddenRush Banked Slalom to kick off the first weekend of March 2022. The course was a true thigh-burner with 23 banks built to challenge riders of all ages (the youngest snowboarder was a 4-year-old) as they sped down to record the fastest time for their division.

“Three days of snowboard culture,” is the tagline of the event and it absolutely rings true from the first turn of the weekend until the last the prize is awarded.

Take a scroll below for a round-up of images from Master, Pro and Open categories as well as a few pictures from the fastest race, the Fakie Race and of course the juniors that closed out the good times. Plus, watch the short recap edit for a taste of the weekend flavor.

If you weren’t able to make it this year, plan accordingly for 2023.

The SuddenRush Banked Slalom LAAX stands for fun, friendship, open-mindedness – it’s all about enjoying time together on the mountain on the one board which means the world to all of them.
